Dear Self,

Anxiety is a part of life (everyone has it to some degree), but struggling with Anxiety does not have to be part of your everyday life. Remember that you have a voice and what you need is important, especially when it comes to your Mental Health and Self Care.

However, that voice can often be heard in your head, and it's important to have a healthy positive dialogue with the “Inner Critic”. The voice in your head is trying to protect you by keeping you safe and out of trouble. It often has good intentions, but other times it's telling you to do the opposite of what you need it to do. (#selfcare #mentalhealth #innercritic)

When you start to hear that “Inner Critic” talking negatively to you, YOU need to change the words you hear. Be VOCAL and LOUD; replace the words with those that are positive and supportive. Turning a NEGATIVE into a POSITIVE

By being able to do the OPPOSITE of what your “Inner Critic” tells you to do, is a way of EMPOWERING you to do what YOU want.

Inner Critic" YOU”

~I'm too scared I CAN’T do this. Ok so I’m nervous but will try.

~This is too much. I will take it one step at a time.

~I can’t handle this. I can’t do this by myself I need help.

Don’t let the “Inner critic” take over. The more forceful you become, the weaker it will become.

Love
