Welcome to the life of Self Isolation and Social Distancing.....
It's the life anyone with anxiety is already living.............

The world currently is in a state of fear, panic and utter helplessness as we deal with the COVD-19 crisis. But have you noticed this is how people living with anxiety feel EVERY SINGLE DAY (and not because of a virus that is spreading around the world)
If you are suffering from anxiety during this time, you may not be as upset as most people are for having to Social Distance and Self Isolate. You're actually grateful that everyone has to practice Social Distancing because you have been trying to create boundaries and stop people from being in your space for years. Self Isolation is what you're so good at already, having to close the doors and not socialize is a relief as now you don't have to find an excuse not to hang out. When you live with anxiety, being in your own space IS your safe spot 365 days a year, and you're in no rush to leave it, unlike the rest of the world during the outbreak who can not wait to enjoy their normal lives.
Not being in control of your life during this situation and having to take one day at a time is what the average person is dealing with, and they understand that this will pass. But for those living with anxiety, there is no end date to any of this; unfortunately, it is normal to feel out of control and to be closed off from the world.
So the next time you see someone who is suffering from anxiety or any kind of Mental Illness issues remember this time in your life, and maybe for the first time ever, you can understand how hard it is having to live this way.
