I was recently asked how I pick my Instagram post?

The answer is quite simple – a lot of the time they are prompts to help Chelsea (our daughter) through her day. No matter how upset or anxious she may be the power of Social Media can be used positively. One certainty is:-
“She will always check her Instagram and Snapchat account.”
I used to curse any social media platforms, as they can be detrimental to someone’s mental health, especially when they see what their friends are posting. However if they can also help me to connect with Chelsea I’m ALL in!!!
The posts are subtle and only she will know if they are directed towards her that day, actually I’m not 100% sure if she even knows that …BUT ...she will know now when she proofreads this!! So I am always happy to see she is one of the first people to have liked a post. I can only hope that she is “thinking about” the meaning behind the days post.
There are days I don’t post and that’s down to simply being busy. It could be that we are having a good day together, or that things are so bad I don’t have time to take away from being a Mum. There are posts that are also focused towards my Blog post of the week and sometimes they are directed towards what’s going on in the world. So if your trying to work out what post was what, you may not be able to. …Unless you are a fly on the wall!!
If you too would like to follow along please follow me on instagram or facebook, I would love to have you xx
